Green and Ethical Christmas Fayre - Update 13 November
Saturday 10 December, 10am-3pm, here at Holy Trinity while Macaulay School PTA hold their Christmas Tree sale outside.

We still need lots of volunteers to help in some way on the day - can you spare an hour or two? There are sign up sheets in the lobby today. We aim to raise awareness of environmental issues within our community and to raise funds for important work to improve energy efficiency in the Church.
Father Christmas’ Workshop Susan Wright has volunteered to prepare and decorate the workshop but Father Christmas would like someone organised to plan and manage the details of his visit, organising stewards and time slots for the children to see him. This requires advance planning, and active management on the day! And we need a couple of Chief Elves to help on the day. Green Café Caroline Pook is co-ordinating this, and needs cooks to prepare savouries, cakes and other food (organic, fair trade or local ingredients, please!).
Food Stall John Harvey will be selling home made fudge, Christmas puddings, Jams, etc, made using ethical ingredients, of course. Contributions welcome.
Gift Wrap Tolu Odeyemi has volunteered to run the Stall selling recycled wrapping paper, and providing a wrapping service for gifts bought at the Fayre. Please sign up on the board if you can help her.
Pedal-Powered Cinema or Music Centre Mark Ashworth and Luke Whiteman have volunteered to plan and run it. They are looking for pedal pushers to make it happen - sign up on the board if you can help.
Storytelling will be happening with the help of “Under the Greenwood Tree”: we need stewards to help with this.
Gift Bank. Have you been given something you don't want or need, which someone else might buy as a present for someone else? Contributions welcome - items must be new or ‘as new’, and an organiser needed for this stall.
There will also be lots of commercial stalls selling things which are ‘Green & Ethical’, and we will welcome offers of help setting up and clearing up for this exciting event.
There are sign up sheets in the entrance lobby for anyone who can help in any way on the day - and please take POSTERS today - they need to give people two weeks notice of the event.
